WHEW! What a whirlwind!

We had the Noritz Demo Van in our territory for a few days, and man, did we put some miles on it!

It proved to be an incredible tool for getting contractors, engineers, and distributors up close and personal with what sets Noritz apart from the competition.

From commercial rack capabilities, versatile venting options, and pre-fabricated manifolds to higher-grade stainless steel construction, convenient top-mount water connections, and the incredible 25-YEAR heat exchanger warranty on the EZ Series, the Noritz units turned more than a few heads!

Some of the MMI team had the opportunity to take a group of our engineering friends to Chicago Faucets for a great mix of learning, relationship building, and a little fun.

They toured the factory, got a behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous care and craftsmanship that goes into producing such a high-quality product, and had the chance to meet many of the people who make it all happen.

They made sure to have some fun along the way, too. A few games, good beverages, great food, and a Brewers game made for a pretty memorable trip.

Trips like this are a great reminder that while products and business are what bring us together, it’s the relationships we build along the way that make this industry so rewarding.

Thanks to the Chicago Faucets team for being such great hosts and to our engineer friends for making the trip with us. We had a great time!

One of the most valuable parts of manufacturer trips, beyond the trainings, tours, and product knowledge, is getting to know the people our team has the privilege of working with every day.

It’s about putting faces to names. Building relationships. Learning about the hobbies, passions, families, vacations, and pets that make people who they are, rather than always talking about order status, shipping costs, troubleshooting, and product questions.

We genuinely enjoy getting to know the people we call, email, and text on a regular basis. And Alderon’s people are truly salt-of-the-earth. They have been incredibly welcoming, helpful, responsive, and - they were a lot of fun to spend time with!

We were glad to be a part of the annual “Alderon Days” having the opportunity to see the factory, train on the products, and learn more about the people and processes behind the operation.

The products and training are important, but the relationships are what make trips like this so valuable.

Thank you to the entire Alderon team for making us feel so welcome. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
