It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted or done any woodworking! That happens with a newborn! haha 👶🏻😂

This is a small entrance ramp I built with a buddy of mine recently. His dad is unable to get in and out of the house easily and it’s hard for his mom to help him. So we threw this together for them! We’ve decided we’re gonna attach a railing to it as well.

Just finished up this Imagine sign for our baby girl’s nursery! She’s due to arrive in just a few weeks.

Grateful to have a local artisan here in Indy who fabricated the metal “imagine” lettering. Shoutout to Crazy Goat Fabrication!

The most recent build to come out of the LavandulaPine Woodshop!

This is a 32" square coffee table made with reclaimed barn wood. The wood consists of mostly cherry and red & white oak. It's stained with General Finishes' Java Gel Stain, and top-coated with their wipe-on polyurethane, Arm-R-Seal. Couldn't be more happy with how this one turned out!

With the amazing character of the reclaimed barn wood, it truly is a unique piece!

Installed this pantry shelving this past weekend! The shelves are made from locally-sourced hickory and finished with a durable water-based topcoat. The supports are made from black metal pipes that have been stripped of their greasy black coating and then protected from rust with a bit of paste wax. Extremely happy with how this one turned out!! 💪🏻👌🏻👍🏻

Delivered this beast of a dining room table this past weekend!! 💪🏻

Made from 100% locally-sourced reclaimed barn wood! 😍

There’s a mixture of white oak, red oak, cherry, and a tad bit of heart pine. It’s really interesting to see what kinds of woods we get from the barnwood dealer. When barns were built a long time ago, they sometimes used whatever trees they could source locally and milled them on-site. That’s why you usually get a mixture of different kinds when you order from a dealer.

This table was definitely a labor of love! Barn wood can be tricky to work with sometimes but in the end, it makes for a beautiful piece!

Hey all! Halloween is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited for it! 🎃 👻 🍂🍁

To help celebrate, we’re offering these wooden jack-o-lanterns for $20 a piece! As you can see in the pic below, they are super cute and will spook-ify any front yard or living space!

The lantern is 11 & 3/4” tall and 5” wide. The tea lights do not come with it.

Done and installed!! ✅👍🏻

This project was special to me. I grew up eating many meals at this table. Underneath this wood top is a dark green Formica countertop table that my dad built when I was 5 or 6 years old. Pretty sure my siblings and I fought quite a bit at this table and were probably told to leave the dinner table and go to our rooms 😂. But more importantly, a lot of love and good food was shared here.

I was honored to give this table new life. We layed pine(that we found in my parents attic) over top of it and put a nice custom stain on it.

*Dining Benches*

Gotta love the satisfaction of completing a project and having it turn out pretty stellar! I installed these benches yesterday for a good friend of ours.

With being in a coding boot camp full-time and trying to further my career, it can be hard to find time in the shop these days. It took me longer than I wanted to finish these up. But it was worth it in the end!
