🐾☕ This morning, we hosted our second Good Morning River Heights event.

We were honored to welcome Chief Wicke, Officer Gelhaye and K9 Doug, and Officer Danner and K9 Riley as our featured guests. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the K9 program serving South St. Paul and surrounding communities.

The team shared insights into the extensive training process for both officers and their K9 partners, what day-to-day life looks like on and off duty, and how they collaborate with neighboring agencies to enhance public safety. They also highlighted the organizations and community support that help make the K9 program possible.

One of the most impactful parts of the presentation was hearing real-life stories that demonstrated how these K9 teams assist officers, protect residents, and make a meaningful difference throughout our communities.
