Debbie teaches classically correct riding. She excels at pushing riders to improve their seat, understand the theory, and make their horse’s job easier without ever being discouraging. Riders of ALL levels leave their lessons feeling improved, positive, and with a plan for their next steps. Debbie’s system is clear and her teaching adapts to riders from those who are new to dressage to professional development for upper level trainers.
This is a chance to learn from someone who trained under Jenny Loriston Clarke, Karin Schlüter, Reitmeister Herbert Rehbein and was coached by George Theodorescu and Reiner Klimke.

In an abundance of caution surrounding the current EHV situation we are closed to travel. Owners are welcome on the farm as usual as long as they have NOT visited another equine facility. Farrier visits have been postponed until further notice.

Congratulations to Diane and Sergio, Sarah and Martino, and Emily and Rayo on a great HDS Spring Show. They earned some champs qualifications, bronze medal with distinction scores and an 80+% in the dressage equitation. When Emily declared we’d have 6 blue ribbons at the end of the weekend and the 3 of them were in the biggest AA classes I just giggled, but these ladies pulled it off! Congrats 🎊🍾

Denali Sporthorses is hiring barn help. Feeding, watering, mucking, and turnout. Mornings 7-9 and evenings 5-8. Must have horse experience. Must be able to work 4 shifts a week. Priority to those staying in town during the Christmas school break.

It’s hard to find words for this post. I am so unbelievably honored to have received the 2023 Region 9 Teaching Excellence Award. Horses and dressage are such a joy to me, and I love that I get to share that passion every day through teaching. Thank you to The Dressage Federation, Meg Flemming the award’s founder, all the excellent instructors I have learned from over the last decades, and especially thank you to all my fantastic students for allowing me to be a part of you and your horse’s lives. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart.
