What an incredible week last week was.

We had the honor of presenting at the CIRAS AI Summit on May 6th, and we also built the Summit website. Seeing everything come together was something that we won't forget.

To CIRAS, thank you for putting together another wonderful event. To everyone who attended and stopped to talk with us, thank you, truly. The Iowa business community never disappoints.

The Robots took home TWO 1st place wins at the AMA Iowa NOVA Awards last Thursday evening. 🏆

1st Place in Digital Marketing for our Milkhouse Candle Co. Pay-Per-Click Campaigns, and 1st Place in Website Design for our Blu Track Website Design.

The Robots are headed to Ames for the CIRAS AI Summit at Iowa State!

Adam and Meegan are presenting Wednesday at 11:15 AM in the Scheman Building. The session is called "Stop Automating Broken Processes" and the title says exactly what we mean.

Most businesses bolt AI tools onto workflows that were already inefficient and then wonder why the results don't match the hype. Our session is about what actually changes outcomes: process redesign. We'll be walking through real case studies from manufacturing, professional services, and e-commerce, plus a live demo of multi-agent workflows in action.

Blu Track makes flexible two-lane racetracks and STEM kits out of Anamosa, Iowa. Their products show up in family living rooms, classrooms, and library maker-spaces — and their new website was built to serve every one of those audiences.

We designed two dedicated paths through the site. Families get streamlined product comparison with compatibility badges so they know exactly which tracks work with the cars they already own. Educators get curriculum-aligned kits, side-by-side comparison tables, learning outcomes, and a complete guide to purchasing with POs and tax-exempt checkout.

Since launch, educator account sign-ups have increased, product compatibility support inquiries have dropped, and the PPC campaigns we manage alongside the site are seeing conversion rates above 50%.

The digital strategy was even featured by CIRAS at Iowa State University after driving over $210,000 in new sales for Blu Track.

Blu Track Website Design

Running Robots rebuilt Blu Track's outgrown Wix website into a modern WordPress/WooCommerce experience designed around two distinct audiences: families shopping for racetracks and educators purchasing STEM kits for classrooms. Custom product pages, standardized naming, a dedicated educator flow with online purchase ordering, and a B2B portal replaced a one-size-fits-all site that wasn’t working for anyone. The result is a website that works as hard as the team behind it. 525% increase in monthly revenue ($5.6K to $35K/month). $210,000 in new sales driven through the digital strategy (featured by Iowa State's CIRAS). 1,497% return on ad spend with 52.61% conversion rate.
