Today a father we assisted received at his final visitation hearing 50/50 joint legal and PHYSICAL custody, no child support, and took his baby girl to school this week.

We don't post much, but we're still praying, trusting, believing, and working in God's name to help men fulfill their God given role to provide and protect their family and leave a legacy of character.

Fathers: WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Many fathers are trying to file emancipation and do not have nor can they get a copy of the high school graduation announcement program with their child listed. The schools are not releasing them to fathers (i.e. Irmo HS told me they only had 10 copies left and permission had to be granted to me to get a copy and it may take at least 2 weeks.)
The courthouse staff told me they cannot call school districts to request a copy.

Any fathers that have any Richland or Lexington County, or any 2022 school graduation announcement programs please scan and email to [email protected] or send a copy please to Frederick Hogsett, Jr., P.O. Box 30226, Columbia, SC 29230-0226.
I will make sure the county courthouse clerks get a copy from there and assist fathers in filing emancipation.

Success Story - Two months ago our agency assisted a father with a Pro Se Visitation filing and the process. In mediation, the father and custodial parent agreed to joint legal custody and 50/50 shared physical custody. All he needs now is the final hearing court date and 30 minutes with a judge to receive a signed order.

We are proud of his success and honored to be a part of the process!

Emotions

Success Story - Today our agency with help from our partners served a custodial parent with Contempt of Visitation court paperwork for an upcoming court date. Prayerfully this father will be successful in his case and have no more problems exercising his right to be a father to his child.

Success Story - Today our agency with help from our partners located a custodial parent that is in contempt of a visitation order. The father could not continue his case until she was located. His previous hearing was continued when she did not come to court. Now he can proceed with his case and see his child again!

It's been a busy week...
1. Helped a father with a modification of child support
2. Provide clothes for court appearances with the help of Mission Lexington
3. Helped two fathers file for visitation
4. Located and served a custodial parent with visitation
5.Held numerous conversations with fathers and community providers

This week two mothers were located and served with Visitation and Contempt of Visitation for Pro Se litigants. Leaving the office and headed to the court house to file Affidavits.
