Hi friends, it’s been a while! 💚

Over the past fifteen months many of you may have noticed that Lannie’s Cakes slowed down. The truth is, I had to step back and focus on something much bigger than cakes: my health. I was diagnosed with Grade 3B Stage IV lymphoma, and much of my time was spent at South Carolina Oncology Associates fighting cancer.

I’m beyond grateful to say I WON that fight! I am healthy, in remission, and feeling better than ever!

That season reminded me how important it is to savor life’s sweetest moments, and now I’m ready to get back to creating cakes that help you celebrate yours. 🧁🎂

Whether it’s birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or just because, I’m officially back in the kitchen and excited to design something special for you!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who prayed, checked in, and gave me grace while I stepped away. Your support carried me through. Now I cannot wait to bake up joy together again.

We have a visitor this morning and it’s so beautiful! Look closely at the wings, the design looks like eyes, and then there’s streaks of blue worked in-the fact that it’s the size of my palm is amazing too.

Good morning!! And it IS a great morning! I had my first PET scan yesterday since starting treatment and the results are answered prayers. My cancer is going away, spots of concern from my neck to my belly are gone or disappearing!! I still have treatments to go and will gladly do whatever I need to do to be healthy again-we still have fighting to do!! I’m beyond thankful for all of your prayers and messages, they’ve been filled with love, they’ve been my lifelines, and you’ve been my blessings-I’m positive that it’s because of you, my incredible family, and my SCOA care team that I have such amazing news to share-I will never be able to thank you enough and my wish is that you do for others what you’ve done for me. It matters more than you can EVER imagine!! 💕✝️💕✝️💚
