We were also honored to have Representative Dale Strong join us and share his perspective on the continued growth and opportunities in North Alabama.

The business season at Alabama AGC’s annual convention was incredible. Presentations from our friends at Baker Donelson, the Auburn University McWhorter School of Building Science AGC student chapter, Associated General Contractors of America president, Rick Andritsch, and highlighted by an address from Alabama’s Senior Senator, Tommy Tuberville.

Alabama AGC and Associated General Contractors of America hosted Congressman Gary Palmer in Birmingham at the new Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedeic Center Campus at Brookwood Mall being constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie. We thank Congressman Palmer for his support of Alabama’s construction industry and B&G for putting together this great experience.

A big win for Alabama's construction industry.

Today marked the ceremonial signing of Senate Bill 304, a piece of legislation that helps streamline business licensing requirements and reduce administrative burdens for contractors working across Alabama, ultimately saving construction businesses thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.

This achievement is the result of strong collaboration between industry leaders and policymakers who understand the importance of keeping Alabama competitive and construction-friendly.

We're proud to have been part of the effort and look forward to the positive impact this legislation will have on the industry for years to come.
