Hometown Recovery and Counseling was proud to stand alongside Operation Bridge in Lawrence County and support such an impactful program dedicated to helping individuals battling addiction.

Operation Bridge continues to make a real difference in our community by bringing law enforcement and recovery professionals together to provide people with an opportunity to choose treatment and recovery instead of continuing the cycle of addiction and incarceration.

Throughout the event, individuals were connected with recovery resources, support services, and treatment options that fit their specific needs. Seeing so many organizations come together with one common goal — saving lives and helping people find recovery — was truly inspiring.

We are incredibly thankful to all law enforcement agencies, recovery teams, and community partners who participated and helped make the event successful. Programs like this remind us that recovery is possible when a community comes together to support those in need.

💚 Community Shoutout! 💚

We want to give a huge thank you to Mike’s Sporting Goods for their incredible generosity and support of our clients!

They provided us with around $500 worth of softball equipment for just $150! Truly going above and beyond to help us create opportunities for recreation, teamwork, and connection. 🥎

Because of their kindness, our clients will be able to enjoy activities that build confidence, community, and healthy habits in recovery.

Please join us in thanking Mike’s Sporting Goods for looking out for our clients and making a real difference! 🙌

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At Hometown Recovery and Counseling, we want to take a moment to remind our community that mental health matters—every single day. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or just feeling overwhelmed with life, you are not alone.

Seeking help is not a sign of weakness-it’s a step toward strength, healing, and growth. This month, we encourage everyone to check in with themselves and with those around them. A simple conversation, a listening ear, or reaching out for support can make all the difference.

Hometown Recovery and Counseling proudly offers mental health services to support individuals on their journey to wellness. Our team is here to provide compassionate care, guidance, and resources tailored to your needs.

Let’s continue to break the stigma and support one another-not just in May, but all year long.

We want to thank OVP for inviting us to the Resource Fair.
