❤️ LET’S TALK ABOUT SOMETHING WE DON’T TALK ABOUT ENOUGH.

We celebrate people when they get sober.

We applaud them when they get a job, rebuild relationships, and turn their lives around.

But here’s a question…

Why do we sometimes make it so hard for people to move forward after they’ve done the work to change?

We tell people to get help, but sometimes judge them for needing it.

We tell people to find employment, but sometimes won’t hire them because of their past.

We tell people to rebuild their lives, but sometimes refuse to see them as anyone other than who they used to be.

At Lawrence County Recovery & Wellness, we believe people deserve the opportunity to become more than their worst chapter.

Recovery isn’t just about someone making better choices. It’s also about building a community willing to give people the opportunity to succeed.

But how often do we really want to know the answer?

Some people are struggling quietly. Some are exhausted from pretending they’re okay. And some just need to know somebody cares.
