๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: I am searching for a remedy to correct the position of head placement while sleeping to no avail. I am a west person, and my head faces east while sleeping. I have no other bed arrangements for my room to correct this. Are there any remedies for this? I would appreciate any help or tip you can give.

Based on an ancient math calculation, each human being has 4 "Empowering" and 4 "Depleting" ENERGY directions. When we honor our best directions at work, at play, at study, and during sleep, our body is able to replenish and re-energize itself.

A simple solution to your situation, is to sleep at the opposite end of the bed at night, which would be West! However, it's advisable to place an Asian screen, furniture and/or a pillow behind your head to protect you while you sleep, if you are exposed to open space.

The most important YIN room in the house is your bedroom. Itโ€™s a sanctuary for rest, sleep, play, dress and for your dreams. Thus, itโ€™s important to create sacred space in this room by balancing the 5 elements and incorporating soft, clean, fresh fabrics, (high thread count) linens, pillows, comforters and sleep wear. Creating a Zen-like environment without clutter, without loud noise, without harsh colors and/or offensive scents/odors allows the body, mind and soul to replenish itself at the cellular level.

๐“๐ˆ๐: The ideal YIN bedroom is one that is void of kitty litter, dirty clothes, offensive artwork, computers, files and exposed electronic wires and TVs. Soft (romantic) music or a fountain is appropriate and healing for cellular rejuvenation.

There is more than one school of ๐…๐ž๐ง๐  ๐’๐ก๐ฎ๐ข โ€“ there are Eight Schools that are recognized, but not by all Feng Shui Masters.

All schools work, but some approaches work faster and others last longer.

Traditional and Classical Feng Shui is the same thing โ€“ it's Eastern or Asian in approach. The Western approach has been around for approximately 30 yrs; the Eastern approach is over 3,000 years old.

There are EIGHT, not five elements in the Classical approach, and you are one of the eight.

You are either an East Group Person or a West Group Person. Linear and Logical, or Creative and Visionary.

A House or Office will either "support or deplete" your ENERGY based on your personal Feng Shui Element.

๐๐”๐„๐’๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐: I moved into a house 10 months ago and feel like I don't know where to start or what to do downstairs. I have boxes and clutter and I'm starting to hate this house because of it. I'm feeling negative about my whole life... I need advice on what to do!

๐€๐๐’๐–๐„๐‘: Once you declutter your environment, you will start to feel better and begin to regain your center. Try to view this as an opportunity to let go of "things" that no longer nurture, enhance or enrich your soul. Start with one box at a time... a day at a time.

Space clearing an environment can bring up a lot of emotions... ranging from exhilaration and freedom to anxiety, anger, stress, tears, and/or fatigue. So be kind to yourself. The goal is to create an environment that supports harmony, peace and balance. Sometimes the emotions we pick up in an environment are not even our own, so I also suggest cleansing everything thoroughly (cabinets, drawers, walls, floors, carpet, window coverings etc.) before you begin to unpack. Consciously cleanse away the old, this will allow Chi... life force energy... into your home and heart. It is also a wonderful way to start off the New Year... right!

There are five elements in Feng Shui โ€“ FIRE, EARTH, METAL, WATER and WOOD. In a garden, the FIRE element can be a fire pit, barbecue, tiki torches, cactus, rose bushes, sunflowers or objects with jagged edges. Earth is bountiful in a garden โ€“ itโ€™s located everywhere. Metal can be patio furniture, wind chimes, and/or metallic objects and fences. The Water element can be anything from a whirlpool bath to a fountain. Wood of course includes plants, shrubs, trees, grass and flowers growing in the Earth. You will want to make sure to honor the Ba-gua blueprint when placing the five elements in your garden!
