The PRC-171 delivers resilient voice and data capabilities for small units at the tactical edge. It needs a resilient tactical power architecture that supports it.

The Merlin Handheld RPA powers the radio, charges its attached battery, and supports connected devices from one compact interface. That means better coordination, faster decisions, and greater mission capabilities - with no drop in communications.

For PRC-171 users, Merlin Handheld enables their tactical advantage.

Your focal plane array is only as fast as the electronics reading it.

An 8k infrared sensor generates enormous volumes of data, and every frame has to clear the array, move through processing, and land as a usable image before the next one arrives. Bottleneck the transfer, and the resolution you paid for never reaches the operator.

SOTIRA™ is built to match the FPA, not fight it — up to 8k resolution, 6.25 Gbps, across 32 SERDES lanes. Frame rate scales with resolution: 60 Hz at 4K, 30 Hz at full 8k. Compatible with Teledyne's FPAs, with room to expand to other vendors.

The sensor gets the attention. The interface electronics decide whether it actually works.

The Merlin Handheld+ comes with a built-in power scavenger, built to meet the ever-increasing demand for power at the tactical edge. Operators pull power from auxiliary sources like solar blankets and vehicle power ports to stretch mission time and recharge the radio battery when there's power to spare.

Mission-tailored cable configurations mean the setup adapts to what the mission needs, no tools required.

Same radio. Less to carry. More uptime.

Seven engineering interns spent their summer with us this year. Some for the first time, a few for the second.

Our interns didn't sit and watch. They sat in on real design reviews, got their hands on real hardware, and asked questions that made our own engineers stop and think about why we do things the way we do.

Good questions are harder to come by than good answers.

Thank you to Liberty, Aidan, Juliana, Daniel, Tyler, Manny, and Jett for the summer — wishing you all a great year ahead.

Payload companies don't come to us for a cryocooler. They come to us because they already have one.

It needs to be controlled.

Nobody budgets time for that part. A cryocooler without the right control electronics is an expensive box. It runs hot. It runs loud. It runs out of margin at the worst possible moment on orbit.

ICE-G2 is cooler-agnostic — built to integrate with whatever vendor you've already committed to, radiation-hardened up to 100 kRad with design margin to 300, thermal-cycle-rated, flight-proven across space and DoD programs.

You don't need another cooler.

We're at Booth 1642, Small Satellite Conference — Salt Lake City, Aug 23–26.

Stop by if your program is working through cryocooler control electronics or focal plane imaging.

Every radio added to the load is another battery someone has to carry.

Iris Technology builds power systems for that problem — built for SOCOM and Army programs.

Different batteries. Different chargers, multiple cables. More gear, more complexity.

Power HIVE runs it all off one system — UAS and radio batteries, charged simultaneously. Dual 240W USB-C PD ports. Six hot-swappable BB-2590s. Full recharge in under 2.5 hours.

One box does it all. Simplify your power stack.

Power storage and power management aren't the same job. Most systems just aggregate power from a few batteries. Ask one to also regulate output while it's charging, and it can't.

Power HIVE runs on standard BB-2590 batteries. No new battery type to stock, no new charger to carry. It holds a steady 28V output while it draws power to keep them charged. No switching. No dropout.

Cryocoolers make infrared imaging possible. They also generate tiny vibrations that can affect image stability.

ICE-G2 Control Electronics gives mission designers multiple options for tailoring cryocooler performance, including active vibration control.

The system analyzes vibration in real time and adjusts the compressor to reduce it before it reaches the sensor, helping maintain image stability and the quality of the data downstream.
