Okay but can we talk about how THIS was once considered next-level party design?! 😂✨

Back in 2005 this rainbow dessert table was featured with Pottery Barn Kids — and at the time people walked in like, “Wait… you can make the DESSERT the decor??” It felt revolutionary. Candy jars, color stories, layered cakes… we were out here living our best creative lives before hashtags even existed.

Fast forward to now and every party has a dessert table. Every. Single. One. And I look back at my old photos thinking, “Wow… this was so cool… and also wow… design moves FAST.” 😅

That’s the wild part about being a creative for decades — you watch your ‘cutting edge’ become ‘retro’ and then suddenly it’s ‘vintage inspiration.’ Meanwhile everyone’s asking:
Are we minimal now? Are we going full maximalist chaos again? Are experiences replacing aesthetics?

Honestly… I kinda love it all. Because trends come and go, but the joy of creating something that makes people smile? That never goes out of style.

Here’s to the OG dessert tables… the rainbow era… and whatever party magic is coming next. 🌈💫 One thing I know for sure - creating joy never goes out of style. ✨

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Someplace in Orange County, Ca lived a young girl named Lila. Lila had faced more hardships in her short life than most could imagine. She had lost her parents at a tender age and had to fend for herself in a world that often seemed cold and unforgiving.

Lila's days were filled with sorrow, grief, and anxiety as she struggled to make ends meet. Yet, she had a heart that refused to be defeated by the circumstances that had befallen her. She believed that no matter where she had been, she had the power to decide where she was going.
