We have already told you the story about how we invented our plastic by accident. Let's find out the details!

Our team was working on another project with the help of several scientists. And then we found that we got an absolutely safe biodegradable plastic that decomposes completely, and not into micro particles, unlike compostable.

More than that, the plastic is able to keep different scents! That was the goal for the original project - to retain and vaporize essential oils permanently.

We realized that we had made something unique, and it needs to be patented ASAP! We have submitted a patent application. And the whole process of obtaining a patent took three whole years!

Everything worked out! We have patented raw material, which means that many useful products can be made from this unique safe plastic, in addition to our cool phone cases.

Even the smallest daily activities and changes in routine contribute to the mission of protecting our planet.

Here is a little checklist you can save to to make your life more eco-friendly.

✅ Cotton against plastic - use cotton shopper and reusable fruit bags when you go shopping. Always have one in your bag!

✅ Get a reusable mug or thermos and take your coffee to go in it instead of using disposable cups;

✅ Always carry reusable straws and napkins with you so you don't need disposables when you take your food to go. Doing that you reduce the amount of unrecyclable waste!

✅ Review your makeup bag and bathroom shelf: regular shampoos can be replaced with dry ones or refills, disposable discs, razors and handkerchiefs can be replaced with reusable ones.

✅ Know your labels! Learn the types of plastic and always pay attention to the labels on the packaging. In order not to forget, print out the types of plastic and stick it on the fridge. It will also help with sorting waste.

Some of the terms that are often confused are Biodegradable and Bioplastics. Agree, they sound similar. So what's the difference?

☑️Bioplastics are types of plastic made from organic material such as corn starch and other plants, and often made up of polylactic acid (PLA). The decomposition of such plastic can take several weeks, but during the decomposition process it releases methane gas, so it is better not to leave the decomposition process to chance, but to give things from such plastic to recycling, where it can be broken down in a controlled environment.

☑️Biodegradable plastic features a different chemical composition, it is petroleum-based with various additives that help it decompose very quickly. However, this does not mean that you can leave the product to decompose anywhere!
