Can we get an "Amen" on this?
I am living a purpose filled life. I only want you to live a more balanced, happy and fulfilled life. Yes, I exercise...but the one thing I exercise with the greatest determination is my character. It is more important to me to live a morally fit life then to be fit physically. They say a photo is worth thousand words, but truthfully it's difficult to capture a person's heart from a square Instagram. My body has come in many shapes and sizes over the course of my life. My character has never changed.
I have been younger, thinner, heavier, blonder, and round with babies. My skin will sag, my muscle will soften my hair will thin, but one thing that will never weaken is my character.
How you treat others, how you behave when no one else is watching, the decisions you make which place others before yourself, when you do what's right even when it's most difficult… That's what character is all about.
A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.
Proverbs 12:4
Yes, I'm as guilty as the next of posting physiques photos...but at the end of the day I hope you know a good body doesn't mean you're a good person. Your character means more to me than your body fat. I would rather spend my time with people of integrity than someone who's more focused on their weight.
That's who I am. That's what matters most to me. So while I encourage you to be fit, remember to exercise your good character as hard as you do any other muscle! http://instagr.am/p/RL9IHkGiyA/
