Improve Your Home Workspace With These Simple Options

The most straightforward idea for setting up a home office space is to follow some easy Feng Shui principles. The essential idea is that whether you're at a desk, sitting in a living room, or lying in bed while you work is that you see the door or opening to the room. Take the President of the United States office, for example. His desk is in a position to greet and welcome. Your placement in a room is either a power position or passive and closed off. Facing out a window and having your back to the room entrance creates an uneasiness, and things are always seemingly coming up out of the blue and taking one by surprise.

More essential home workspace ideas are to have sufficient lighting and flow to the room. Creating a light and bright environment with space between furniture and an easy path in and out of the room is inviting and inspiring.

Finally, have your space clutter-free. Install or purchase shelves, cabinets, or some bins to hide paper piles, files, and more.
