Great real estate always finds its footing with the right guidance.

Situated near a busy local airport, this La Quinta by Wyndham possessed fantastic baseline value but lacked the operational framework to thrive. It was hindered by gaps in revenue strategy and sales protocols, alongside critical maintenance backlogs that required immediate, hands-on attention.

Mehr stepped in with four moves: fixed maintenance and housekeeping standards, rebuilt the pricing strategy around the airport location, retrained the entire team, and enforced strict SOPs.

The result: gross revenue grew from $1.8M to $2.9M, cash flow turned positive within two months, and the hotel was ranked the #2 La Quinta in the entire country.

Fix the operations, and the asset follows.

We're thrilled to announce Celestina Feazel, General Manager of Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott – Pecos, TX, as Mehr's GM of the Quarter honoree!

Celestina came into hospitality from sales and retail, but after joining the property just over a year ago, she learned every department inside and out. When a leadership gap opened up, she stepped in, held things together, and earned the GM role after a five-person interview process.

Her leadership style is hands-on. She works alongside her team, not above them, building mutual respect from the front desk to housekeeping, and keeps a genuine open door policy where every concern is heard.

One of her standout moves: she gave up her own office so staff would have a quiet place to recharge during breaks, a small gesture with a big impact on how her team feels at work.

Celestina credits this recognition to hard work, dedication, and patience, and her advice to other leaders is simple: know your property and brand inside and out. She adds that Mehr's high standards and focus on accountability line up perfectly with her own professional values. Congratulations, Celestina! 🏆
