Meet Mehr is our ongoing team spotlight series introducing the people helping drive progress across Mehr Consultancy's hotel portfolio. This month, we're featuring Ashton Dorsett, IT Project Coordinator.

As part of the IT team, he helps team members and hotel staff navigate access issues, troubleshoot software needs, and get comfortable with our new internal systems. A big part of the role is making technology easier to use, from training teams on new software to helping resolve issues and keeping communication with the MC Team running smoothly.

One milestone Ashton is especially proud of is the launching of Internal Hotel Operations Software, helping support the transition and ensuring teams had the tools and guidance they needed along the way.

Despite being new to Mehr, he has already experienced the welcoming and supportive culture that makes the company special. Being able to do what he loves while helping the team work more efficiently is what makes the role so rewarding.

We're excited to have Ashton on the team and can't wait to see what comes next. 👏

Meet Mehr is our ongoing team spotlight series introducing the people driving performance across Mehr Consultancy's hotel portfolio. This month, we're featuring Diana Medina, General Manager at Holiday Inn Express Blythe, California.

With 8 years in hospitality, her day-to-day focus is making sure the property operates smoothly, guests have a great experience, and her team has the support they need to succeed. What energizes her most is seeing her team grow alongside her.

Working in high-pressure environments has shaped her leadership approach. She holds morning meetings to keep everyone aligned, listens to her team, and makes sure they feel supported in everything they do.

Guest experience is equally important. She believes in listening to what guests need and making sure they leave satisfied, even when things don't go exactly as planned.

One accomplishment she is especially proud of is seeing three of her front desk team members recognized by the city for outstanding customer service. She also credits Mehr's professionalism and guidance for helping her grow as a leader.

Her commitment to her team, thoughtful approach to guest service, and focus on growth reflect the leadership we value across Mehr Consultancy's portfolio. Thank you for all you bring to your team every day. 👏

We're thrilled to announce Heidi Neff, General Manager of Country Inn & Suites – London, KY, as Mehr's GM of the Quarter honoree! 🏆

She began her hospitality career 4 years ago as a Front Desk Agent. Very quickly after, and at a very young age, she stepped into the General Manager role and embraced the opportunity to lead and grow within the industry.

Her leadership style is grounded in trust, communication, and mutual respect. She believes every role matters and makes it a priority for her team to feel respected, comfortable, and valued at work.

She is especially proud of the team culture at her property, recognizing her staff through team lunches, small celebrations, and appreciation for their hard work. She is motivated by seeing growth in her team and property and seeing their hard work reflected in the guest experience.

Heidi credits her team, her DOO, and the support from Mehr for helping her continue learning and developing as a leader. Her advice to fellow hospitality leaders is simple: stay involved, listen to your team, and never stop learning.

She is excited for the continued growth and opportunities ahead in her hospitality career.

Representing Mehr will be Harmeet Mann, CEO, who will join the opening-day panel, “Ignition Point: How to Think Bigger, Commit Differently, and Turn Ambitious Goals into Action.”
