Please join us in welcoming Om Patel to Mehr Consultancy as our new Head of Business Development and Financial Consultant.

Hospitality has been part of Om's story from the very beginning.

Growing up in a hotel-owning family, he gained an early understanding of the dedication, discipline, and problem-solving required to operate successful properties. That foundation inspired him to build experience across hotel operations, revenue management, sales, business development, and finance, intentionally developing a 360-degree perspective of the industry along the way.

At Mehr, Om will lead efforts to expand our business development initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and support the strategic growth of our portfolio. He will also play a key role in optimizing financial strategies, enhancing reporting and visibility for owners, and helping drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

What stands out most about Om is his commitment to service. Whether he's building relationships, solving challenges, or identifying opportunities for growth, he approaches every interaction with the same hospitality mindset: listen first, add value, and create lasting trust.

Meet Daeja Duarte, HR/Risk & Compliance Manager.

Daeja is the kind of person who brings both heart and strategy to everything she does. As a self-described "social butterfly," she thrives on the human element of HR while simultaneously protecting the bottom line for ownership groups and investors saving clients over $20K on driver claims and $10K on premium audits, just to name a few wins.

Behind the scenes, Daeja makes life easier for GMs and owners by taking on the complex work — Workers' Comp, General Liability audits, internal investigations — so on-property teams can stay focused on what they do best: running great hotels.

Her growth over the past three years at Mehr has been remarkable, and she'll be the first to tell you that she's just getting started. Guided by mentors Christina Nelson and Manny, Daeja sees her work in risk and compliance not as a job, but as a calling.
