A Flood Watch has been issued from late tonight through late Tuesday night for portions of far Western NY, including Erie and Chautauqua counties. Lake effect and lake enhanced rain will continue through the first part of the work week, with localized heavy rainfall possible just downwind of the lakes.

[7:00PM Update]

A cool night is on tap tonight as temperatures slowly dip into the 40s and even upper 30s for some of the usual colder spots on the higher terrain. Scattered lake effect rain showers will continue overnight, with waterspouts possible over the lakes.

09/14/2022

A few showers will be possible east of the lakes today and this evening as a weak secondary cold front drops across our region through tonight. Behind this front, cool autumn air will flow across our region with overnight lows Wednesday Night and Thursday Night dipping into the 40s, and possibly upper 30s in some of the normally colder spots. High pressure will bring a dry stretch to end the week.
