ABOUT YOUNG CATHOLIC PROFESSIONALS

The mission of Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) is to encourage young adults working in various professions to 'Work in Witness for Christ'. As a national organization, YCP membership consists of young adults in their 20s and 30s, single and married, who are highly motivated to achieve personal and professional success while seeking a greater understanding of

their Catholic faith. We also welcome professionals who may not be Catholic, but are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Members benefit from access to exclusive networking events, executive speaking events across a variety of industries, spiritual direction, executive mentors, panel discussions, monthly newsletters, and more. Mentorship is more than just guidance. It means walking alongside the next generation of leaders with faith and purpose.

We’re grateful for leaders like Claude Aragon, whose dedication to mentoring through YCP continues to inspire and impact young professionals. His commitment to walking alongside others is a powerful reminder of the difference mentorship can make.

We have to resist the temptation to catastrophize failure.

Failure can feel terrifying. But what if it is not the end of the road, what if it is feedback?

In this episode of Refiner’s Fire, Dr. Gregory Popcak and Lisa Popcak remind us that God often works while we are in motion. We may want the full map before we take the next step, but discernment often requires prayer, courage, and a willingness to move forward before everything feels certain.
For the young professional afraid of making the wrong move: this conversation is a reminder that God is not waiting to cut you from the team. He is guiding, redirecting, and refining you along the way.

On this Feast of Corpus Christi we are reminded that we are called to something much greater than any worldly achievement or professional venture.

We are called to true union with Jesus Christ himself.

The Eucharist is where it all begins. It is the source that sends us out into our workplaces, our cities, and our communities with the courage we need to bring our faith into every aspect of our lives.

Finding community in a new city is hard. Bringing your faith into the boardroom is hard. Seeing your work as a calling is hard. Showing up as the person God is calling you to be, really hard.

But here's what's even harder; going through your entire career without letting Christ into your day.

That's why working in witness matters, showing up each & every day and letting Christ into every corner of your life. YCP exists to make sure you don't have to figure that out alone.

On this Feast of the Visitation, we're invited to ask: where is Jesus showing up on our ordinary days? In a coworker's offhand kindness, a difficult conversation handled with grace, a moment of unexpected peace in the middle of a packed schedule?

John leapt before he could even speak. Just pure recognition and joy.

May we be that attentive today with hearts ready to receive him.🕊️
