ABOUT YOUNG CATHOLIC PROFESSIONALS

The mission of Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) is to encourage young adults working in various professions to 'Work in Witness for Christ'. As a national organization, YCP membership consists of young adults in their 20s and 30s, single and married, who are highly motivated to achieve personal and professional success while seeking a greater understanding of

their Catholic faith. We also welcome professionals who may not be Catholic, but are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Members benefit from access to exclusive networking events, executive speaking events across a variety of industries, spiritual direction, executive mentors, panel discussions, monthly newsletters, and more. On this Feast of the Visitation, we're invited to ask: where is Jesus showing up on our ordinary days? In a coworker's offhand kindness, a difficult conversation handled with grace, a moment of unexpected peace in the middle of a packed schedule?

John leapt before he could even speak. Just pure recognition and joy.

May we be that attentive today with hearts ready to receive him.🕊️

AI is reshaping the way we work and as young professionals, we are right in the middle of it.

Released just this week, Pope Leo XIV's first encyclical Magnifica Humanitas speak directly to the questions that so many of us are asking in our careers. Is AI ok to use? How do we remain fully human in the age of technology? Does my work still have inherent dignity?

AI risks widening inequality, weakening the human person, and undermining the value of workers. But Pope Leo's message isn't one of fear. It's a reminder that human flourishing cannot be reduced to technological fulfillment, and that our hearts are ordered towards God.

Have you read it yet? We'd love to hear your thoughts!

You don’t have to choose between being successful and becoming a saint.

From a carpenter to a physician, a lawyer to a business owner, the saints remind us that our careers can become a path to sanctity.

Holiness was never meant to happen outside your work. It was meant to happen through it. That’s our mission at YCP.

What saints are currently inspiring your work?🕊️

Meet the mentors guiding the next generation of leaders in the Midwest!

Congratulations to our Chapter Leader of the Month, Michael!

Michael has made an incredible impact on YCP NYC through his creativity, dedication, and tireless service to the chapter. Most notably, he designed and launched our YCP NYC postcard initiative, helping expand our reach into parishes across the city and connect more young Catholics with our mission in a meaningful and tangible way.

Beyond the postcard project, Michael has gone above and beyond in building a strong suite of marketing assets that continue to elevate the chapter’s presence and professionalism across the board.

And when he’s not pouring his talents into YCP, you can probably find him on the dance floor as he is also an avid swing dancer!

We are so grateful for his generous spirit, creative vision, and the countless hours he has dedicated to YCP NYC. Thank you, Michael, for all that you do!

“Discipline is treating your body, mind, and soul the way God intended us to treat it.”

If there is anything that a MMA legend would understand, its discipline. But Bas Rutten gave us a new understanding of the term. It’s not about restriction or grinding through sheer willpower, discipline is a calling. A calling to be the man or woman that God intended us to be.

When we view discipline through that lens, it stops being something we force upon ourselves and becomes something we are invited into.

How can we show up in our work today as the person God is calling us to be?🔥

2026 YCP Conference | Keynote by Bas Rutten
