Please welcome Tom Stoffo to the Spire Home Office as VP, Technology. His deep knowledge of hotel technology platforms, telecom systems, and hotel applications, combined with a practical, solutions-oriented approach, will enhance the Owner Services team’s ability to deliver reliable and scalable technology support to both hotel teams and ownership groups.

Tom is an accomplished hospitality technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading information systems, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives across hotel and resort portfolios. He most recently served as Vice President of Technology at Mainsail Lodging & Development, where he was responsible for enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity, and operational performance.

Earlier in his career, Tom held technology leadership roles with organizations including Davidson Hospitality Group and Interstate Hotels & Resorts, building a strong foundation in hotel IT operations and large-scale implementations.

Tom is a recognized leader in the hospitality technology space. He was named Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) of the Year in 2013 by HFTP (Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals) and was honored as a Top 50 Technology Professional in 2024 by OnConferences. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Management from St. Petersburg College and is known for aligning technology strategy with business performance, operational efficiency, and guest ex. The 2025 Hotel of the Year demonstrated exceptional performance across every key metric.

Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown exceeded top-line revenue 0, achieved a GOP flow-through of 111%, and improved RevPAR index by 4.7%. All of this was accomplished while undergoing an extensive, multi-year renovation.

The team also led Spire in Hilton Honors enrollments, reaching —275% of their annual goal—and maintained a strong employee culture throughout the year.

These results reflect the dedication of the entire team, led by General Manager Larry Brown and Director of Sales Ruth Butler.

Congratulations on the outstanding year.
