How do you want to get involved with MetroTex in 2027?

There are now two ways to participate, and the right fit depends on how you want to engage.

Ready to lead, recommend and advance? Apply to serve on an Advisory Council. Beginning in 2027, MetroTex Committees will become Advisory Councils, with members appointed through an application process.

Want to connect, learn and engage with more flexibility? Opt in to a Member Exchange. There’s no participation cap or attendance requirement, and you can participate in as many as you’d like. Simply opt in through your Member Portal to receive meeting information. No application is required.

Two different roles. One shared goal: strengthening our industry and our communities.

Advisory Council applications are open through October 31, and members can opt in to Member Exchanges at any time.

Another impactful community outreach for NTYPN!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for “From Renting to Owning,” an informative homebuyer class in partnership with Minnie’s Food Pantry. We were able to teach this in Spanish and English thanks to our bilingual members.

Grateful to be part of our local community and empowering the journey toward homeownership.

✨ Member Highlight: Joni Freeman ✨

Joni Freeman, 2026 Chair of NTYPN, is a dedicated leader passionate about building connections, supporting fellow professionals, and helping strengthen the real estate community.

Joni got involved with NTYPN after diving into real estate full-time and wanting to become as engaged and connected as possible. What started as a desire to get involved has grown into a leadership role and a deeper connection to the NTYPN community.

What Joni loves most about NTYPN is the culture. She appreciates how everyone wants to see one another succeed and is committed to seeing NTYPN thrive.

For anyone on the fence about joining, Joni says NTYPN is an amazing and fun group of professionals who genuinely enjoy being around each other, work hard, and advocate for NTYPN and the community it serves.

🎭 Fun fact: Joni was voted Class Clown in both high school and college! As she says, “I believe in always having a good time.” 😊
