Congratulations to the Mount Sinai Fire Department on the successful implementation of their new respiratory protection program!
Earlier this year, the department was awarded an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) to replace its aging SCBA fleet. After a thorough evaluation process, the Fire District selected the 3M Scott Air-Pak XD SCBA to provide the highest level of protection, comfort, and reliability for its firefighters.
Through this grant, the department has taken delivery of:
🔥 42 Scott Air-Pak XD SCBAs with facepieces
🧯 82 Scott 45-minute carbon cylinders
MES Fire is proud to have partnered with the Mount Sinai Fire District on this important project. We sincerely thank the Chiefs Office and the Board of Fire Commissioners for placing their trust in our team to provide equipment that will protect their members for years to come.
A special thank you to Brandon Milan of 3M Scott Fire & Safety for his outstanding support throughout the project, and to Fire District Manager Giuseppe Loiacono for his leadership and commitment to ensuring the department received the equipment best suited for its operational needs.
