Congratulations to the Mount Sinai Fire Department on the successful implementation of their new respiratory protection program!
Earlier this year, the department was awarded an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) to replace its aging SCBA fleet. After a thorough evaluation process, the Fire District selected the 3M Scott Air-Pak XD SCBA to provide the highest level of protection, comfort, and reliability for its firefighters.
Through this grant, the department has taken delivery of:
🔥 42 Scott Air-Pak XD SCBAs with facepieces
🧯 82 Scott 45-minute carbon cylinders
MES Fire is proud to have partnered with the Mount Sinai Fire District on this important project. We sincerely thank the Chiefs Office and the Board of Fire Commissioners for placing their trust in our team to provide equipment that will protect their members for years to come.
A special thank you to Brandon Milan of 3M Scott Fire & Safety for his outstanding support throughout the project, and to Fire District Manager Giuseppe Loiacono for his leadership and commitment to ensuring the department received the equipment best suited for its operational needs.
We appreciate the opportunity to support the firefighters of Mount Sinai and thank them for their continued dedication to protecting their community.
Congratulations, and thank you for your trust in MES Fire and 3M Scott.

🔥 MES Proudly Supports the Lt. Joseph DiBernardo Training Weekend! 🔥

This past weekend, MES was honored to sponsor the 12th Annual Lt. Joseph DiBernardo Training Seminar — an incredible event dedicated to firefighter safety, training, and brotherhood.

Over 500 students participated in hands-on training ranging from firefighting to technical rescue. MES proudly supported our partners:
🚒 3M™ Scott™ Fire & Safety – providing SCBAs
🔥 Seek Thermal – supplying AttackPRO+ and AttackPRO 300 thermal imaging cameras
🛠️ FAST Rescue Solutions – providing FAST Boards for firefighter rescue and removal

On Sunday, top fire service leaders spoke on vital topics such as first responder mental health, firefighting tactics, and Mayday operations.

This year’s seminar reached new heights — with firefighters attending from across North America, as well as Ecuador and Canada! 🌎

To date, the Joey D Foundation has awarded nearly $1.5 million in grants to fire departments for personal escape systems. MES is proud to support this outstanding foundation and its mission to keep firefighters safe. 🙌
