Itasca Bank's Women's Initiative Discover, energize, and connect with Itasca Bank & Trust Co.’s Women’s Initiative. For over 25 years, we have brought women together to learn, share, and grow.

We offer programs that cover a wide range of interest to advance the success of women. The programs we offer cover a wide range of interests, and are for women of all ages and walks of life. Review a sample of some of our past programs, all offered at no charge to women:

Our July Ice Cream Social at the Medinah Shrine Center was a wonderful evening of sweet treats, laughter, and entertainment! More than 90 guests joined us for a fascinating presentation by Annette Bochenek on the history of female comediennes.

Dr. Bochenek took us on an entertaining journey through the evolution of women in comedy, from their early days in silent films to becoming headliners on radio and stars of film and television. It was a fun and engaging look at the talented women who broke barriers, made audiences laugh, and helped shape the world of entertainment.

Thank you to Dr. Bochenek for sharing her knowledge and stories, and to everyone who joined us for this special summer event!

Do you know someone that is looking for a new best friend, the furry four-legged kind? Stop by Itasca Bank this Saturday for a dog adoption event we are hosting with Fetching Tails Foundation.

Meet your new best friend! Itasca Bank is proud to partner with Fetching Tails Foundation for a special pet adoption event on Saturday, June 27. We invite our community to stop by, meet some wonderful adoptable dogs, and learn how you can make a difference in the life of a rescue pet. Itasca Bank is donating $150 to the foundation for each adoption that day.
Fetching Tails Foundation is a nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to saving vulnerable dogs from shelters and helping them find safe, loving homes. Even if you're not looking to adopt, we encourage you to stop by, meet the dogs, and enjoy some tail wags and puppy kisses. Spending a few minutes petting these lovable pups is a great way to brighten your day—and theirs.

Our recent event Stronger Together: An Evening of Empowerment was an incredible success! Our attendees were very generous and raised $1,765 and a customer that did not attend generously donated $500! Itasca Bank matched the amount raised and is thrilled to give the proceeds to Fellowship Housing. Courntey Burton from Fellowship Housing spoke about holding hope for others, when they no longer can find hope. It was a heart-felt message and reminded us how we can show up for others. We were entertained by the magic of Paige Thompson whose wit, humor, and magic were another highlight of the evening.

A big thank you to all the bank employees that attended and volunteered; we could not have done this without all of you! Thank you to all our attendees that purchased raffle tickets and the businesses that donated a product or service. You made a difference in the life of a single mom and her kids.
