TRAFFIC ALERT

Airport Rd between County Farm Rd and Boardman is extremely congested and Airport Rd Meijer is down one entrance / exit due to the ongoing construction.

Expect significant delays in travel.

Last week, our Public Safety Officers had their quarterly in-service training.

They went over bleeding control, search and rescue, RIT pack overview, and vehicle stabilization and extrication.

The City of Jackson, MI Fire Department and Summit Township Fire Department also joined us for training on initial fire ground operations put on by Assistant Chief Smith.

Update: Highway is back open

Units are working a single vehicle crash on northbound S US 127 at W I 94 in Leoni Twp. The ramp is closed, please avoid the area.

Update: The roadway is now open in all directions.

Please avoid the intersection of E. Michigan Ave. and S. Sutton Rd. Both roads are closed at the intersection for a crash investigation.
