Local trumpeter, Kimble Funchess, will help you along your shopping way with beautiful tunes this Saturday, December 20th from 12 to 3pm. He'll be in the clock tower circle in front of Altar'd State and The Everyday Gourmet. Kimble has performed with some of the nation’s greatest artists in Jazz, Gospel, Blues, and R&B, and we are honored to have him perform at Renaissance.

Congratulations (again!) to the Port Gibson High School Concert Band!

On Friday, March 21st, the Port Gibson High School Concert Band performed at the Magnolia Concert Band Festival, held on the campus of Jackson State University. This judged competition featured a panel of distinguished university and high school band directors.

We are proud to announce that our students earned an Overall Superior (I) Rating in both Stage Performance and Sight Reading!

Their musicianship, dedication, and teamwork truly shined, and they represented Port Gibson High School with excellence and pride. Please join us in celebrating this major achievement—these students have set a high standard for what it means to be a Blue Wave musician!
