Women’s History Month Highlight: Ms. Kessey Monae

Ms. Kessey Monae of Jackson, Mississippi, is a singer, actress, entrepreneur, and versatile entertainer whose work reflects resilience, creativity, and purpose.

A graduate of Holmes Community College with a degree in Voice and Performing Arts, Ms. Monae has built a career performing in stage productions, community events, and musical showcases. Her talent and dedication have earned her several honors, including the Holmes Music Major Award, Literature Award, Growl Newspaper Award, and multiple talent show recognitions. Through her artistry, she continues to inspire others while pursuing her passion for music and performance.

Praying For His Family, Honoring His Legacy

Whereas, it is with great sadness that we acknowledge the transitioning of our beloved client, colleague, and friend, MC/Host and Content Creator “Big Kountry” Nieves Oglesby, whose life and work touched audiences far and wide;

Whereas, Big Kountry brought joy, laughter, authenticity, and undeniable presence to every stage, camera, and conversation he graced, embodying a spirit that was both magnetic and deeply human;

Whereas, through his creative gifts and relentless drive, he built a platform that celebrated culture, connection, and community—leaving behind not only memories but a legacy of inspiration for those who will follow;

Whereas, JBAP Management, under the leadership of CEO Jabari Baymon, had the honor of representing and walking alongside Big Kountry in his journey as an artist, entertainer, and visionary;

Be it therefore resolved, that JBAP Management recognizes and celebrates the immeasurable impact of Nieves “Big Kountry” Oglesby, whose talent and heart will continue to echo through the lives he’s touched;

Be it further resolved, that we extend our deepest condolences and continued prayers to his family, loved ones, and supporters during this time of loss.

His laughter, energy, and legacy will forever remain a part of the JBAP family.
