Job description

Due to a recent retirement in our organization, Volunteer Technology Systems is looking for a sales / estimator. This is a full time, in office job.

The following are a few of the responsibilities required of successful candidate:
• Exceed all company sales goals and objectives by servicing existing customer base while generating new business to expand current customer base including the development / follow up of all sales leads in a timely and effective manner. Goals and objectives will be set, with management approval, at the beginning of each fiscal year.
• Take off projects as submitted by the electrical contractor or others, following the specifications thereof. Design working system to the proposal stage.
• Responsible for writing and submitting professional proposals.
• Promote Volunteer Technology Systems, LLC and the products and services that are offered.
• Track and provide accurate sales information to company management.
• Provide accurate and timely submittal of sales order and job notes to project manager.
• Make necessary sales presentations to customers and management as requested.
• Acquire and maintain sound knowledge of all product lines and services offered.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to management.
• Other duties as required or assigned by the company management.

An aerial view of a Dollar Tree/Family Dollar Distribution Center that we are just finishing Phase 2 of the project. Total building area of just over one million square feet and standing over 147 feet high. Teaming up with Team Cabled, it’s turned in to a great installation.
