Celebrating a very special 18th Birthday today! 📸

We captured Parker’s senior session earlier this summer, so it’s only fitting to share a few highlights today. Having known Parker since he was three months old, and his incredible family even longer, it’s been an honor to watch him grow into the young man he is today.

From his boundless energy as a toddler to becoming an Eagle Scout and talented theater buff, Parker leads with heart, character, and empathy. He’s the person who always makes sure no one feels left out.

Parker, wishing you an amazing birthday and an incredible senior year. You deserve a standing ovation in everything you do! 👏 🎂

I had such a blast photographing Braydin for his senior session! He’s a USJ Class of 2027 senior, and of course we had to work a little baseball into the evening. ⚾️

Braydin was so easygoing and fun to photograph, and I love how his session turned out — from the ball field to the more classic senior shots.

After graduation, he’ll be continuing his baseball career at Ole Miss, and I know there are some exciting things ahead for him.

Congratulations on your senior year, Braydin! Wishing you an incredible final year at USJ and all the best in this next chapter! 🤍⚾️

Who might be the worst person on social media? 🙋🏻‍♀️Oh, it’s 100% me.

I’ve had these images of beautiful Caroline edited, prepped, and ready to post since JULY… and somehow here we are in the middle of August!

But better late than never, because seriously… isn’t she stunning?! 🤍 Caroline is a senior at USJ, and she is every bit as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She was such a joy to photograph!

Caroline, I hope your senior year is filled with the best memories, lots of laughter, and all the excitement that comes with this final year of high school. Soak it all in, it goes way too fast!

Friday Night Lights will be here before we know it, and if Media Day is any indication, TCA Football is ready!

One of my favorite things about this job is having the freedom to be creative, but the real magic happens when the people in front of my camera are willing to jump in and have fun with me. These guys showed up with so much school spirit, energy and enthusiasm. They were ready to try every idea, laugh at themselves and make Media Day an absolute blast! How lucky am I that I get to call something this fun and creative my job?

She and her sister…when I look at those two, they make my eyes happy and my heart flutter. Being their mom is one of the greatest privileges of my life.

And now, somehow, it’s time for MY brown-eyed girl to do the high school senior thing, and I am not ready!

This summer has been so busy that I haven’t had a fair chance to photograph Ava the way I’ve imagined. She should consider these photos a little warning, though, because I am nowhere near finished. I have ideas. Lots and lots of them. 😂

For now, here are a few photos of my beautiful brown-eyed girl. Ava, I love you more than words could ever say. I am so incredibly proud of the young woman you’ve become, and I hope you have the very best senior year. Soak it all in, sweet girl. It’s going to be such a special one! 🤎

This summer has felt a little like drinking from a fire hose, in the very best way! Between photographing so many seniors, learning their personalities and creating some of my favorite senior portraits ever, it has been a whirlwind. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love what I do, and I’m looking forward to working with these incredible students throughout their senior year! 🎓

A VERY IMPORTANT PROOF REMINDER:

If you are a student at Madison Academic, Trinity Christian Academy or the University School of Jackson, your proofs are ready! All proof galleries are delivered online and were emailed to the address used when your session was registered.

If you have not seen your proofs:

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Confirm which email address was entered during registration.
• Parents, please check with your student. It may have been sent directly to their email rather than yours.

If your student has not yet been photographed, you would like them included in the yearbook and you have not already contacted me personally, please email me at [email protected] asap.
