The Partnership was glad to spend a day at Shawnee State University for the Ohio SE Prosperity Forum!

It was a great opportunity to connect with economic development partners from across the region, hear updates on the work happening throughout Southern Ohio, and continue conversations about opportunities to strengthen our communities and support economic growth.

We even ran into a familiar face while we were there! 😉

The Jackson County Economic Development Partnership is seeking a motivated, organized, and community-minded professional to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.

This is more than a traditional administrative role. The person in this position will have the opportunity to be involved in the work happening throughout Jackson County, from supporting local businesses and economic development projects to assisting with community engagement, marketing and communications, board administration, grants, events, and more.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to take initiative, and excited to learn and grow. Prior economic development experience is not required.
