Big congratulations to Tim Betros of NEXGEN Roofing for earning the Giver's Gain Award for his contributions to BNI 7 Bridges throughout the 2025-26 FY.

Giver's Gain is the BNI mission, and Tim Betros lives it everyday in how he practices business and life.

Tim gave 64 referrals, participated in 63 1to1 meetings and gave $174,019 in closed business to other members.

Truly, when Tim wakes up in the morning, he begins his day with a giving mindset and practices it week in and week out.

Gloria Dongara of AAA Life Insurance Company absolutely earned her spot as Member of the Year at BNI 7 Bridges. Gloria gives her time, attention and experience to our chapter in many ways.

These materialized in the 2025-26 FY through 53 referrals, 60 1to1 meetings and $166,206 in closed business she referred to other members! Gloria has contributed to our chapter as a BNI member for more than 13 years. As mentor coordinator this past term, she was essential in helping our chapter grow and supporting new members in their successes.

Congratulations Gloria! Kudos to you, and thank you for all you do.

Last year, BNI 7 Bridges set a goal to generate $1.5 million in Thank You for Closed Business for our members. And, we did it...and then some.

Behind that $1.525 million are 920 referrals. But behind those numbers are something harder to measure: relationships.

Members learning each other’s businesses. Listening for opportunities. Making introductions. Building trust. And choosing, week after week, to help one another succeed.

One relationship has the power to open lots of doors. That was a fitting message as Steve Pelikan of Paychex wrapped up our final featured presentation of the BNI 7 Bridges' fiscal year.

Steve showed us that his role goes well beyond payroll. He helps connect business owners with solutions for HR, benefits, retirement plans, merchant services, workers' compensation, funding and more.

But he also made it really clear what a GREAT referral looks like. Listen for:
🔹 A new business getting ready to make its first hire
🔹 A growing business adding employees or locations
🔹 An owner frustrated with handling payroll themselves
🔹 CPAs and bookkeepers looking for a trusted payroll and HR resource for their clients

Steve reminded us of something that fits BNI particularly well: relationships lead to relationships. And, that's a pretty good thought to carry with us as we close one chapter year and begin another.

A new BNI 7 Bridges leadership team is ready to take the reins, and they're setting some BIG goals for the year ahead.

Leadership leaves clues.

For BNI 7 Bridges, some of those clues are pretty easy to spot: chapter growth, more than 900 referrals, 1,200 one-to-ones and a positive community spirit. 🎉🎉

As we head into our final meeting of the 2025–26 fiscal year, we celebrate President Nick Riscigno, Vice President Donald Trombly, AAI, ARM, CRIS, and Secretary/Treasurer Amanda Bunk Sizemore, CPA.
