WoW! I can’t believe that the year is almost over! 🤯

As successful business owners, it’s essential to always think about your next move and how to keep escalating your business. 📈

Are you ready for FY23 like the person on the left or the person on the right? 👈❓👉

Do you have plans and goals in place? And to top that, do you have S.M.A.R.T. Goals? 🤔💭These goals are fundamental to developing methods, systems, and KPIs.

If you’re not familiar with the term S.M.A.R.T. Goals, these goals are:

🌟 Specific
🌟 Measurable
🌟 Achievable
🌟 Relevant
🌟 Time-bound

For instance, my goal is to increase my profit by 2% within 3 months. I will start offering a VIP service and will audit and remove all unused/redundant system. 👏👏👏

📅 Q4 can either be a great final quarter or a scary one to approach.

A best practice with financial management includes analyzing 📊 your past quarter and setting goals for the new quarter.

We need to understand where our current state is in order to get to that "desired" next chapter 📈.

But setting goals is only part of the grand plan. In order to meet that goal, one must have systems in place. Or better yet, how are you going to achieve this goal 🏆?

Are your systems unorganized and inefficient or do you have streamlined systems in place to help take your business soaring 🚀?

If you're unhappy ☹️ with the current state of your business, take a step back and think of what you can do differently to make your dreams a reality.

Everywhere 🌎. Everything. Everybody is looking to make things simpler to help free up their time.

Think about it ...
☕ you want coffee, there's a machine to pour it for you.
🤖 A robot puts together assemblies in your car.
🦾There are robots that perform surgeries.
👕👖 Laundry machines wash your clothes.
💵 ATM dispenses money to you.

Automation is all around us!

But what about in an online business setting 💻? How can you automate different tasks? Easy! There are systems like Zapier that literally help you automate ALL THE THINGS!

I am a big fan of automating and using Zapier! Pretty much any task, any system, you can automate.

For instance, say you want to give a student access once they purchase your course automatically. No problem! Zapier can handle that ✅!

You want to auto-populate a database once a form is submitted. Not a problem! Zapier can handle that ✅!

Stocks are going down 👎. Inflation is going up. We’re going through a recession 💸. It can be terrifying times.

Business owners may find themselves asking how they can protect their revenue and grow their profit 💰?

Sometimes, entrepreneurs may feel uncomfortable looking at the PNL statements or don’t know exactly where to cut or increase to help out their bottom line 🤔?

If that’s what you’re feeling right now, here are 3 pointers to help you get back to seeing the numbers 💵 you want.

💲 BUDGET: What’s your business plan? Understand where you’re at in relation to your original plan. This can help you think about your reinvestment and how to spend your surplus.

💲 EXPENSES: Look at what are some of your highest expenses and evaluate where you can make cuts. Can you reduce a contractor’s hours?

💲 REVENUE: Where do you make most of your money? Have you increased your prices lately? Maybe it’s time?

Does this still make you unsteady 😖 looking at your number? I can help you with your financial management and managing money and help you reach your goals. I love diving into numbers and looking at balance sheets.

Project Management 📋 focuses on planning and executing approved ideas. You NEED project management to get a project in progress 📈 and ensure that it is completed within a specific deadline.

The main stages of project management include:
✨ THINK: What do you want to accomplish?
✨ PLAN: Braindump all the steps and what tasks need to be performed in order to accomplish this goal.
✨DO: Execute the tasks and monitor the progress.
✨ ANALYZE: Review the outcome. Were there communication gaps? Did you get the expected outcome?

Of course, there are many, many smaller 🤏 steps within this overarching breakdown of project management, but that's where I come in 😊! As your project manager, I ensure that all steps are completed and exceed your expectations so you don't have to worry that your goal won't be achieved.

✨ Project Management ✨
This topic may sound intimidating but it is essentially just breaking down a big, vague project into small and very specific pieces to ensure that every item will have an actionable owner and a deadline to meet and obtain the desired results. In layman's terms, it's essentially your "to-do list" 📋 to get your project completed ☑️.

There are so many different project management software to use including Asana, Click-Up, Trello, Monday, and Microsoft Projects 💻. I prefer to use either Click-Up or Asana to help organize thoughts, plan projects, and execute approved ideas.

As a project manager, I overview and keep tabs on small pieces ✔️. I coordinate with multiple remote team members into working together, get on the same page, and meet a deadline. I will help plan, delegate, communicate and monitor 👀 each stage of the process. I want to meet your goals and help take your business to the next level ⬆️ which may mean incorporating new ideas and projects.

In 2020, I was 34 weeks pregnant 🤰 with my second child when I was laid off from a Fortune 200 company due to business conditions. I was devastated. I was hurt 💔. I worked hard to be promoted to my position in that male-dominated industry.

When I started my own business and became a Digital Business Manager, it was important to me to work in a position that not only did I love doing but also that would be more accepting of having two small children 👧👦.

Being a Mompreneur takes a lot of work and dedication 😅, but I wouldn't trade it for a minute. I love being able to watch my client's businesses grow as I get to watch my children grow as well!
It's not easy, but being a mom is never easy whether you're a stay-at-home mom or a mompreneur.

So today, I would like to wish all moms out there a Happy Mother's Day 💗💐! You all work hard and deserve more than a day of recognition!

🌼 Spring Time! The weather is getting warmer. There are more sunny days ☀️. The trees are turning green 🌳. People turning in vacation notices!

Spring and Summer are perfect opportunities to get away ✈️ and enjoy some R&R. However, often business owners feel strapped to their desks 🖥️ because nobody else knows how to do their job or nobody else on the team knows how to do someone else's tasks while they're out on vacation. That's why it's essential to create SOPs for all roles and tasks 📋 within your organization.

Don't skip out on a vacation and get burnt out with work just because you're afraid that nothing will get done while you're out on vacation.

Working remotely 💻 can sometimes make people feel not as connected with their co-workers. That's why as a Digital Business Manager I incorporate creative ways to help establish a bond 🤝with my team. Not only does it build trust amongst team members, but it helps keep them happier 😊 .

Some of my favorite team-building ideas include:

☑ Holding virtual coffee chats that aren't work-focused
☑ Doing weekly fun team bonding games (i.e. who's workspace is this?)
☑ Hosting Zoom office parties 1-2x a year
☑ Hosting an IRL Team Retreat
☑ ALWAYS ask team members how they're doing before any meeting

Amongst holding fun team bonding activities 🕹, it is also important to take the time to develop and coach your team. All of these steps will ensure a happy team!
