A compressed bale stores energy. The tie is the only thing holding it in.

Cut it wrong, or let it fail on its own, and that energy comes out fast, toward whoever is standing closest.

That is spring-back. One of the more common causes of injury on a baling floor. Almost entirely preventable.

Straight and cut wire is cut to a specific length and gauge rather than supplied on a coil.

It shows up in construction, fabrication, assembly lines, and specialty tying jobs, anywhere the work calls for a fixed length rather than a spool.

Galvanized straight wire is durable and holds up well in extremely damp or hot conditions, especially in agricultural uses.
