As a two-time convicted felon and serial misdemeanant with five children I have had my fair share of small part-time jobs to make ends meet for me and my five kids.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have also worked for 9 financial institutions, 3 of which were for prestigious banks, and I also ran the day to day operations of a company that had offices across 5 states and Puerto Rico. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, it’s safe to say I have worked all kinds of jobs but I needed more financial stability. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Understand that I know what it is like to sit in front of an employer and your stomach start to boil and turn because you were asked that humiliating and awful question: “Have you ever been convicted of a felony?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
