June is National PTSD Awareness Month.

This month serves as an important reminder that trauma is a human experience, not a label.

PTSD is often associated with military service, but it can result from many different life experiences, including accidents, medical emergencies, violence, natural disasters, workplace incidents, grief, loss, and other deeply distressing events.

PTSD does not have a gender.
PTSD does not have a race.
PTSD does not have an employment status.

It can affect people from all walks of life.

It is not about lowering expectations.

It is not about treating employees differently.

It is about creating workplace systems that support people while maintaining accountability, professionalism, and performance.

PTSD can result from many life experiences, including accidents, medical emergencies, violence, disasters, workplace incidents, grief, and loss.

The most effective employers focus on respectful communication, clear processes, and consistent leadership.
