I had an amazing time at yesterday's Family and Neighbors Baby Shower. The beauty and tranquility of the occasion made it a memorable experience. Thank you to my sister-in-law for all of the planning and the day-of coordination by my mother-in-law!!! Thank you, everyone, for the hilarious moments and for involving all generations of our family in the celebration via Zoom, especially my 99-years-old grandparents, my 12-years-old nephew, my 4 almost 5-years-old second cousin, and my almost 3 months old second baby cousin. Seeing them connect with each other filled me with joy!!!

The 7th Annual Día de los Mu***os Jacksonville was powerful and beautiful, sharing laughs and some tears looking at the exhibit in MOCA. The 7th Annual Día de los Mu***os Jacksonville was powerful and beautiful, sharing laughs and some tears looking at the exhibit in MOCA. I am so happy that I got to see so many of my friends and to understand some of what you all experience with your family and friends in Mexico!!!

Inspiration was the Beach Lady, her connection to Monarch Butterflies, and their connection as souls on Dia de los Mu***os. Taking care of them these past three years with my butterfly garden and finding out that they migrate to Mexico made me feel connected to that aspect.
