Recently, in the early morning hours, our Spear Security Operations SRT Team received an emergency deployment request through dispatch for a corporate client who had received a credible threat of terroristic violence.
Our SRT Team immediately mobilized and deployed to a distant area of operations (AO), arriving in under an hour—and before any client staff arrived on site.
Upon arrival, the team received and assessed the available intelligence and liaised directly with the jurisdictional law-enforcement agencies, ensuring that all appropriate parties were informed, coordinated, and prepared to respond should the threats materialize.
The team then established and stabilized the security posture at the location, transitioning from an immediate response into a sustained protective operation.
Working in coordination with our Central Headquarters, plans were initiated for relief personnel, resupply, and continued operational support, allowing our team to remain prepared for an extended deployment and maintain a continuous security presence until the threat could be mitigated and the situation safely resolved.
This is what preparedness looks like.
