How am i inviting the best me ever to come forward?
I read an article about Pat Riley's CBE (Career Best Effort) Program and the Ask:
- Based on historical player's stats, they came up with a baseline level of performance.
- Then, Coach Riley asked each player to improve by 1% which means if they do, they would reach their Career Best Effort.
--------------------------------------------------
"Stop focusing on the end result and start paying more attention to the process. We often underestimate what we can achieve just adopting small changes to our behavior but applying them consistently over time..."
--------------------------------------------------
This got me thinking about a "Me Best Effort" or Best Ever Me...
- a quantifiable baseline measurement of overall best me
- an ask and commitment to a 1% improvement over a designated period (daily or weekly)
- group coaching program for accountability, buddy system, etc.
A mind, body, soul, personalized, quantifiable, self improvement plan.
Improvements like:
✔ Drink more water
✔ Exercise
✔ Meditate
✔ Win the Day Morning Ritual
✔ Less moody (mood course correction)
✔ More Self reflection time
✔ Happier at work
✔ More fun activities
✔ More time operating in my gifting
✔ More plant based eating
✔ Build stronger relationships with friends and family
✔ More shifting toward an attitude of gratitude
✔ Master the skill of _______
✔ Save _____ of money or ---% of my income
✔ Increase my income
I can see the process as:
- Assessments
- Review of historical data (or track to average)
- Determine baseline
- Commitment to 1%
- Weekly measure progress
