Most organizations have their content strategy completely backwards. ๐Ÿ”„

They build a LinkedIn presence, post a few service announcements, share a case study, maybe drop a promotional graphic. Then they wonder why nobody is engaging.

Here is the hard truth: you cannot lead with what you sell. Not because it is bad manners, but because it does not work. The people you are trying to reach have not given you permission to speak to them yet. You have not demonstrated that you understand their world. You are the person who just walked into the room and started talking about yourself before anyone asked.

The organizations that are winning right now figured something out that most are still ignoring: credibility has to come before the pitch. Always.

Our latest blog breaks down the 80/20 framework that changes how organizations show up in their market, why thought leadership is not a buzzword but a business strategy, and what it actually looks like when you get it right.

If your content calendar looks more like a brochure than a conversation, this one is for you. ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ’ก Healthcare transformation isn't measured by new models. It's measured by better outcomes.

The latest discussion around ACO REACH highlights something we've believed for years. Long term success in value based care requires more than participation. It requires thoughtful strategy, physician alignment, operational discipline, and the ability to continuously improve.

As Medicare continues to evolve, healthcare organizations that proactively prepare for what's next will create meaningful competitive advantage. This is a worthwhile read for healthcare executives navigating that journey. AnswersMedia ๐Ÿ”—

The CMS Innovation Center released the third annual evaluation report and early results ahead of the fourth report for ACO REACH that shows the model improved healthcare quality and reduced gross spending during its first four performance years.

Success in value based care is no longer measured by participation alone. It is measured by performance.

The latest discussion from ACO leaders highlights an important reality: Medicare reform has created tremendous momentum, but organizations that succeed over the next several years will be those that continually adapt. That means evaluating strategy, strengthening physician alignment, improving care coordination, and making smarter use of data to support better decision making.

The policy conversation is important. The ex*****on strategy is where organizations create lasting advantage. This article offers valuable perspective for healthcare leaders navigating that journey. Healthcare marketing teams have spent years asking whether their campaigns are performing. A more important question is moving to the front of the conversation: Do we fully understand what our marketing technology is doing with consumer data?

Advertising pixels, conversion APIs, retargeting platforms, embedded forms, and third party analytics can create privacy exposure that is not always obvious from the front end of a website.

A privacy policy alone does not solve that problem if the technology underneath behaves differently from what patients and consumers reasonably expect.

For healthcare organizations, this is not simply a compliance exercise. It is a trust issue.

The brands that take the time to understand their data flows, simplify consent, question unnecessary tracking, and explain their practices clearly may gain something far more valuable than another marketing metric. They may earn greater confidence from the people they serve.

HHS guidance on online tracking technologies is a helpful place to begin: https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-professionals/privacy/guidance/hipaa-online-tracking/index.html

๐Ÿฅ The Value-Based Performance Series | Part 4 of 4 | Written by Kimberly Dygert

For decades, healthcare organizations were built for fee-for-service. Then we asked them to succeed in value-based care. That structural mismatch is one of the biggest reasons performance breaks down.

In the final article of our series, we look at why value-based care success requires more than better contracts, better analytics, or better intentions. It requires an operating model built for accountability. ๐Ÿ“– Read Part 4:

Healthcare has no shortage of data. The real challenge is turning that data into action.

In Part 3, we explore why analytics alone will not drive value-based care success and why dashboards only matter when they change decisions, workflows, and accountability. ๐Ÿ“– Read Part 3:

Attribution. Benchmarks. Quality.

These three drivers shape nearly every MSSP performance conversation, but too often theyโ€™re treated as separate workstreams instead of connected levers.

In Part 2, we break down why these foundations matter and how they influence financial performance, operational strategy, and long-term success. ๐Ÿ“– Read Part 2:

๐Ÿšจ New Series Alert ๐Ÿšจ

Weโ€™re launching The Value-Based Performance Series, a 4-part look at why succeeding in value-based care is not just about contracts, analytics, or quality measures - written by Sunflower Health Advisors's own Managing Partner Kimberly Dygert.

Itโ€™s about how organizations are built to perform.

Part 1 explores a common misconception: most organizations donโ€™t misunderstand the importance of value-based care. They misunderstand what actually drives performance. ๐Ÿ“– Read Part 1: https://sunflowerhlth.com/blog/value-based-care-performance-misunderstood

Too many organizations say theyโ€™re โ€œdoingโ€ value-based care while still operating on fee-for-service infrastructure. That gap is where performance breaks down. Itโ€™s not always about effort. Sometimes itโ€™s structural.

Workflows. Data. Incentives. Accountability. Communication.

If those pieces arenโ€™t aligned, value-based care becomes harder than it needs to be. In our latest blog, we break down why so many organizations remain structurally unprepared for the shift and what it actually takes to build the right foundation. Because in this model, strategy alone isnโ€™t enough. Ex*****on matters. Read more ๐Ÿ‘‡ https://sunflowerhlth.com/blog/structurally-unprepared-for-value-based-care
