New system doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. 👀
That keypad on your wall may have a few years on it. Maybe quite a few years. Maybe it remembers dial-up.
But that doesn’t automatically mean everything behind it belongs in a museum.
Depending on the system, existing wiring, door and window contacts, motion detectors and other components may be able to stay right where they are while the brains of the system get an upgrade.
The trick is knowing what’s still useful, what’s compatible, and what’s quietly begging for retirement.
That’s where a proper system evaluation comes in.
Instead of tearing everything out just because it’s older, we look at what you already have and figure out the smartest path forward.
Keep what works. Upgrade what doesn’t. Make the whole thing work better.
Have an older alarm system sitting in your house right now?
