MainOcean is proud to announce that Sheryl Ochieng has been promoted to Director of Transportation, where she will oversee our growing transportation division across multiple states. Sheryl joined MainOcean in February 2022 as a dispatcher, and through hard work, dedication, and a strong commitment to our customers and operations, she has quickly advanced within the company.

Throughout her time with MainOcean, Sheryl has played an important role in the continued growth and development of our transportation division. Her dedication to providing excellent service, supporting our team, and finding solutions for our customers has helped the division achieve year-over-year growth.

Sheryl’s progression from dispatcher to Director of Transportation is a great example of the opportunities available within MainOcean for employees who demonstrate initiative, leadership, and a commitment to excellence.

In her new role, Sheryl will continue to focus on strengthening our transportation operations, supporting growth across our markets, and ensuring we consistently provide the dependable service our customers expect from MainOcean.

We’re proud to once again support Operation Vet-Fit and its Annual Veteran Golf Outing & BBQ Dinner, an event that gives approximately 90 veterans a free day of golf, camaraderie and connection while raising critical funds for veteran mental health and wellness programs.

Operation Vet-Fit provides combat veterans and their families with free mental health services, advocacy, fitness resources and camaraderie-based programs designed to help veterans rebuild purpose and connection after combat service.

The 8th Annual Veteran Golf Outing & BBQ Dinner is set for February 26, 2027, at Charleston National Golf Club, and this year’s goal is to raise $30,000.
