September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month we're inviting high schools and middle schools to Go Gold with Fourth and Gold. 💛🏈 We had over 50 schools in multiple states participate last year and we're hoping to exceed that!
Every year, thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer, yet childhood cancer receives only 4% of federal research funding. Awareness matters because awareness leads to conversations, advocacy, and ultimately, hope for better treatments and cures.
For families living in the middle of childhood cancer, seeing an entire school wear gold, coaches wearing ribbons, players running onto the field with awareness stickers on their helmets, and fans recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month reminds them they aren't fighting alone. It tells every child in treatment that their community sees them, supports them, and is standing beside them.
Every fourth down play becomes an opportunity to remind fans why we fight: for the kids who are battling today, the survivors, and the angels we will never forget.

HEY DAVE!! Why does the paint bubble?

Removing Wallpaper? Don’t Paint Too Soon.

After wallpaper is peeled off, the wall may look clean—but old adhesive is often still hiding on the surface.

When regular water-based paint is applied over leftover wallpaper paste, the moisture can reactivate the adhesive. This may cause bubbling, cracking, peeling, or an uneven finish.

Our preparation process includes:

✅ Removing the wallpaper and as much adhesive as possible
✅ Cleaning and repairing the wall surface
✅ Applying Zinsser GARDZ Problem Surface Sealer
✅ Allowing it to dry before priming or painting as needed

GARDZ penetrates and seals the remaining adhesive, damaged drywall paper, and other porous areas, creating a firm, paintable foundation. Proper preparation makes the difference between a paint job that only looks good today and one that holds up for years.

How do I get rid of the Mildew on My Walls?

Don’t Just Paint Over It.

Bathrooms, kitchens, exterior walls, and other damp areas can develop mold and mildew—especially where ventilation is poor. The stairwell shown here is an extreme example, but the proper preparation process is the same:

First, we thoroughly clean the affected surface using a sponge and a properly diluted bleach-and-water solution, then allow the area to dry completely. Next, we apply Zinsser Mold Killing Primer® to treat the surface and seal in remaining stains and spores. Finally, we apply two coats of Zinsser Perma-White Mold & Mildew-Proof Paint®, available in both interior and exterior formulas with multiple sheens and color options.

Proper ventilation and protective equipment are essential when working in these conditions.
