This Moodboard Monday, we are observing , a day to recognize the people and cultures who were here first and whose influence is still seen everywhere. These rug patterns are just one example. Just to be clear, this rug isn't Native American work. But patterns like this- the diamonds, the bright colors, the borders- trace back to Indigenous weaving traditions: spinning and dyeing wool by hand, building geometric patterns entirely from memory on looms, with techniques passed down over generations.

That's American craftsmanship, at its roots.
