I am pleased to share with you all that after three decades of founding ownership and running Seaman Realty and Management Company I am retiring, effective September 30, 2024. I will no longer operate my company nor participate in the commercial real estate industry. I want to thank you all for your support through the decades and for the opportunities you have given me to serve your business interests. It has been an honor to work with you all and a fun ride through the years. I have learned so many lessons along the way. Thank you all for your confidence in my abilities.

🍿🍿🍿 Seaman Realty and Management and Company (seamanrealty.com), representing Sun-Ray Cinema for its 3rd location, this one in the Mandarin “suburb” /sub-district in Jacksonville, offers the community this update: per the roll- out of the vaccine, Sun-Ray, and Hollywood who rolls out the films, are each awaiting the public response to attending movies in theaters before they open their theaters. Sun-Rays’ Mandarin bonanza dine-if-you-choose mini-plex is to be the most wonderful cinema imaginable, continuing its unique style and traditions that we have come to love! Movie theaters are opening, which means more films in production. If seated 6 feet apart from other parties do you feel comfortable and desire returning to the movies?

So very happy to be representing the creatively unique and wonderful in it’s Herculean quest for a second location, this one at the former K-Mart in Mandarin, for a 600- seat five-cinema Sun-Ray on San Jose Blvd.!

We're on the path to a second Sun-Ray, even if we don't know exactly how long the travel time is. What we've learned is to keep moving forward, picking up what we find along the way. This particular section of the trail, one that takes us toward the former K-Mart on San Jose Blvd in Mandarin, is one we've been hoofing for nearly a year and so we are extremely excited to share this initial drawing for a five screen. Thanks to Seaman Realty and Management Company for the introduction to some seriously savvy developers. More info just as soon as it's available, meanwhile join us in enjoying the scenery!

SO excited to see that Jacksonville’s Retail Enhancement Program for downtown Jacksonville is expanding, which Mike Langton and Seaman Realty and Management Company first presented and introduced to the DIA, and which passed the City Council in 2015. The initial intent was for this to be a short term program to bring 40 storefronts to downtown Jacksonville with the lights on during business hours every day, so that people could shop downtown for the holidays and anytime. Maybe the expansion will help!

Organization wants to make incentive program more visible to attract businesses Downtown.
