My people, my people, my people, “EVERY MICKLE MEK A MUCKLE” or “ONE ONE COCOA FULL BASKET”. The Jamaica Cancer Society (JCS) is IN DIRE need of a new mammogram machine. There is NO FUNCTIONAL MACHINE at the organization. The only machine DIED on August 26, 2026. It cannot be revived/repaired, the parts are obsolete.

It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the JCS cannot offer mammogram screenings at reasonable prices to our needy Jamaicans. EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES and without a machine mammogram machine screenings cannot be done.

We at Island Dolls are doing our little part to raise funds through October 31, 2026 to assist. Our fundraising drive includes selling as little as 1 breast cancer awareness pin, bracelets, dolls and teddybears and receiving cash donations from family and friends at home and abroad. We are so grateful to our customers who joined us by selling our merchandise.

Jamaicans, let us SUPPORT the JCS and DONATE, DONATE DONATE whatever you can to the worthy cause of purchasing a new mammogram machine. Please call the JCS (876) 927-4625 today to see how you can assist.

GREETING to all Jamaicans at home and in the diaspora. Over the past 63 years our little island, Jamaica like all other countries in the world have gone through excellent and rough times. October 26, 2025 we witnessed the most devastation to our beautiful Jamaica as we experienced a category 5 hurricane by the name of Melissa. Nine months later we are getting ready to celebrate 64 years of Independence under the theme - “UNITED IN CELEBRATING RESILENCE”.

“The theme honors the strength and determination of Jamaica at home and across the diaspora, and highlights the nations ability to overcome adversity and rebuild following the recent challenges”.

As true believers in our culture and heritage we at Island Dolls have created commemorative dolls to celebrate the event. Our creation of JAMAICA 64 DOLLS is not only extensive but exquisite and in vogue. The dolls in different costumes, sizes, hairstyles and skin tones are donned and accessorized in the Jamaican colours of black, green and gold. There is a doll for everyone whether you are a little girl inspired to keep our culture alive or a doll collector looking for a piece to show your pride of your heritage.

READY. SET, GO, purchase your commemorative doll(s) today as they represent our culture, history and transcends generations. Together let us all celebrate Jamaica 64 under the theme “United in Celebrating RESILIENCE”. ONE LOVE JAMAICA. Support Brand Jamaica by BUYING JAMAICA and BUILD JAMAICA.

Island Dolls participation at the just concluded 11th Biennial Diaspora Conference held in Montego Bay, Jamaica was a tremendous success.

We were blessed and grateful to the Most Hon. Dr. Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica and the Most Hon. Mrs. Juliet Holness as well as the Hon. Minister Kamina Johnson-Smith along with other dignitaries for visiting our booth. We were elated to present our Prime Minister with dolls representing his Alma Mater, St. Catherine High School. Our Prime Minister was delighted as indicated in his inspired comments.

To Minister Johnson-Smith and her staff we say thank you for bringing members of the diaspora under one umbrella every 2 years for this phenomenal event.

At Island Dolls we continue to embrace our culture through our extensive collection ranging from schoolgirls to athletes Huggable okay dolls to our career dolls. Thank you Jamaica for embracing Buy Jamaica and Build Jamaica.
