Before and after pruning. 💇‍♂️

Pruning is one of my favorite vineyard management tasks. It’s cold. It’s monotonous. There isn’t greenery and sunlight. In photos it looks pretty bleak.

But it’s the start to all that is to come. It’s the catalyst to the success of each vine’s production. Thousands of careful decisions creating balanced vines, and then balanced wines.
