We’re looking forward to spending an afternoon celebrating all three at the 5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 19!

Join JYP and CHQ Hispanic Development from 3–7 p.m. at Jackson Taylor Park for an afternoon filled with great food, live music and entertainment, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and plenty of opportunities to experience and celebrate the cultures that make our community so vibrant.

This year’s festival also marks an exciting new chapter for CHQ Hispanic Development, the newly established nonprofit organization created by the committee that has proudly organized the Hispanic Festival in Jamestown for the past several years. With a mission centered on growth, connection and inclusion, CHQ Hispanic Development is working to strengthen the Hispanic community and create opportunities for connection across Chautauqua County.

And, of course, JYP will be there! Stop by our table, say hello, meet some of our Planning Team members and learn more about how you can connect with other young professionals across Chautauqua County.

We love opportunities like this to get out into the community, make new connections and celebrate what makes Chautauqua County such a great place to live, work and grow.

☀️ We've Been Quiet... But We've Been Busy! ☀️

You may have noticed things have been a little quieter than usual around JYP—and that's by design!

Every summer, we take a short break from hosting events during July. With vacations, festivals, and packed calendars across Chautauqua County, it's the perfect time for our incredible Planning Team to recharge after a busy first half of the year.

While you haven't seen us out hosting events, we've been working behind the scenes planning what's next. We're putting together an exciting lineup of networking events, volunteer opportunities, and professional development experiences for the second half of the year, and we can't wait to share them with you.

Now that we're back on social media, you'll be hearing from us a lot more! We'll be highlighting local businesses, sharing community happenings, introducing some of the people behind JYP, and giving you sneak peeks at what's coming up this fall.

In the meantime, if you're looking to connect with us, we'll have a JYP table set up during United Way Night at the Ballpark on Sunday, July 19, at Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park, where the Jamestown Tarp Skunks will take the field. Gates open at 3:00 PM, with first pitch at 4:00 PM.
