Being a mompreneur means carrying your babies and your dreams at the same time.

My kids come first. Always.

But I refuse to believe that motherhood requires me to abandon the purpose God placed inside of me. Every class, training, speaking engagement, and business opportunity is part of the legacy I’m building for my family.

Today, my kids tagged along while I invested in my growth.

That’s not selfish.

That’s legacy work.

I’m so honored and excited to be a panelist for BLK Girl Fest Blk Girl Wellness Panel on Mental Health. This topic is near and dear to my heart. I have been to the lowest depths of depression and clawed my way back to the light through faith and determination. I fought to take back dominion over my life and mental health. I pray my time on this panel touches the women who are surviving the darkest times and let them know you have the power within you to reclaim your authority, align with focus, and execute with discipline. There is light at the end of tunnel. The fire (your trials and tribulations) did not come to destroy you. It came to refine you.

Meet our Panel Speakers:

Paquita Reddish, known as The Divine Solutionist, is a faith-based strategist, coach, motivational speaker, and author whose work centers on transformation, leadership, and purposeful ex*****on. A survivor of domestic abuse who continues her healing journey while navigating major depressive disorder, Paquita brings a grounded, faith-forward perspective shaped by lived experience—without being defined by it. She is the first African American WHEN Stories™ speaker, using her voice to expand representation and reclaim narrative power. As the founder of The Divine Solutionist, she leads coaching and strategy experiences for purpose-driven leaders ready to move beyond survival and into dominion, bridging faith with disciplined action. Paquita also serves as Executive Director of the VLM Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit inspired by the legacy of Vickie Lynn McGee that uplifts underrepresented entrepreneurs and community leaders. She is a co-owner of Blessed Divine Creations, a family-owned custom gifting business, and a contributing author in WHEN Stories: When Everything Changed, I Became Myself. Her work affirms that while survival may shape the story, purpose determines its power.
