Holy cannoli these things are hard to identify!!! I was right about my macro lens giving me a new perspective, but it's also given me an appreciation for entomologists! This Pale Beauty, Campaea perlata, was found at Androne Woods napping on the underside of a leaf.

Crown Coral Fungus, Clavicorona pyxidata, found at Androne Woods. The crown coral fungus can be differentiated from other coral fungi by it's crowned tips and for growing on wood.

Macro shots of half-inch Blue-eyed Grass flowers is as close as I've come to enjoying the little things in life recently. If I'm not at work, there's other work that needs to be done. I made it a point to drag my camera out for an after work hike last week and I'm hoping the sun comes back out again this week.
