We are proud to announce May 21, 2026 as the International Supervised Visitation Awareness Day.

Supervised visitation provides a safe, structured space for children and families to maintain connection during some of life’s most challenging moments. This day is about raising awareness, honoring the work being done worldwide, and uplifting the voices of the families we serve. Go orange for SV Awareness!

🌟New Employee Highlight Welcome Carrie!

Carrie brings a wealth of experience at the intersection of law enforcement, mental health, and community-based crisis response. In her current role as a Community Crisis Liaison with Walworth County and the City of Lake Geneva Police Department, she responds to high-risk calls involving mental health crises, overdoses, domestic situations, and death notifications. Carrie is highly skilled in de-escalation, short-term crisis counseling, and connecting individuals to mental health and substance use services, helping reduce unnecessary contact with law enforcement and supporting safer outcomes for everyone involved.

Prior to this role, Carrie spent nearly six years as a Probation and Parole Agent with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, where she managed a high-risk specialty caseload focused on women impacted by opioid addiction and s*x trafficking. Her background includes court work, pre-sentence investigations, evidence-based practices to reduce recidivism, and close collaboration with courts, treatment providers, schools, and community stakeholders.

Carrie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a Social Work emphasis from Upper Iowa University and has nearly completed her Master’s in Criminal Justice through UW–Platteville.

We’re excited to have Carrie’s expertise, compassion, and collaborative approach on our team. Welcome, Carrie!

We’re especially grateful for her commitment to culturally responsive services and their ability to build rapport across diverse populations.

We’re thrilled to have this dedication, experience, and heart for service joining our work—welcome aboard Monica!re
