Back out doing some training, then inspection reports for a few facilities that are just about to open and a few others that are 4 or 5 yrs old. This allows us to get baseline data and enter them into our program early, making damage location faster and easier in the future and saving (on average) 100s of thousands in future repair cost and losses.

Although we primarily work with public and private safety operations for disaster, fires, hazmat spills and engineering, construction, industrial and commercial facility managers for damage reporting and preventive maintenance. However, during local emergencies we are happy to assist private owners etc. for reduced rates (while available). If you need to know the extent of damage to a facility or structure, locate moisture damage beneath the surface to stop leaks, locate impact points from hail and debris for insurance, or locate animals that may have been forced out by the storm.

A few of the views from AIT projects in downtown Madison this week. As stressful as it may be at times to keep all the airtraffic straight (especially when working on hospitals with heloports all around, cranes completely surrounding the sites and college games about to start 2 blocks away) it's always exciting on larger projects to have a full team on site. This project included thermal/IR scanning for damage to roofing, structural components, HVAC systems and a few other line items, as well as energy loss reporting of several areas over 9 stories and a skywalk, then 3D models for measurements and asset management. Our custom process is a combination of experience and technology that is catching on for safety, quality and efficiency driven companies!
